Going for the first time

Most clubs welcome new players and lend boards, tiles and clocks, so you need bring nothing. Write or call ahead: many clubs pair newcomers with a regular for the first games, and some meet in rooms that close to the public. North American clubs mostly play the NASPA Word List (NWL2023); some also run Collins games.
