How to make a letter banner
- Print the letters you need from the tiles PDF: in your print dialog, type the page numbers (A is page 1, B page 2 … Z page 26; the blank is page 27, 0 to 9 are pages 28 to 37, then ! ? &).
- Use card stock if your printer takes it, or glue each sheet to card, then cut along the tile's edge.
- Punch the two marked holes at the top of each tile and thread ribbon or string through, leaving a blank tile between words.
- For a word wall, print the outline letters and let the class color them.
Questions
How big are the letters?
Each tile is 7 inches square on a US Letter page, with the letter about 5 inches tall. They print on A4 without cutting anything off.
Why do the letters have numbers?
They are Scrabble tile values, the same as on the game's tiles. The numbers and symbols have none, since the game has no such tiles.
Can I use them for a classroom or a party?
Yes. Print as many as you need and share the link.
