How to make them

  • Print on card stock if you can, or glue the printed sheet to thin card. Use your printer's actual-size setting so the tiles stay 3/4 inch.
  • Laminate before cutting for tiles that last, then cut along the dashed lines.
  • For the full-size board, cut each part along the outer edge of the grid and tape the four parts together from the back, top left to bottom right.
  • Store the tiles in an envelope or a small bag so you can draw them without looking.

Ways to use them

  • Play on a trip or in a classroom without a set: the one-page board works with pencils.
  • Replace a lost tile for casual games (it won't match your set by feel).
  • Use the big A to Z tiles on a word wall or pocket chart, and print extra copies for spelling games.
  • Keep score with our score sheet and the list of all 107 two-letter words.
  • Need bigger letters? Printable letters are 7-inch tiles, one per page, and the Scrabble name generator prints any name or word as tiles.
